Thermostat With Humidity Reading

Some ideas about the lecture for Morning 9:30 AM in Radio UAG

The digital divide

1. Adults who grew up without the Internet,
shaped his life without the use of this technology.
And do not use it now.
not feel comfortable with it.
not need it.

For artists, the promotion of his work was always
face, with events and publications
printed books, with readings and live performances,
classroom presentations, tours.
His promotion was aimed at people of his generation, nor used
internet, his contemporaries and seniors they
.

Teachers have a comfortable life, comfortable,
little updated, often teach the same thing every semester
little innovate, improvise, using books,
photocopies, magazines, use computers but no Internet
not communicate with other teachers
out of their environment. Ignore the universe of activities
that many students have in the network.

Students who grew up without the Internet, far
of modernity with few resources, no phones, no skills
least
use the Internet, do not know how to turn a web page
not know the basic English is used and
not understand the basic terminology. They have no idea what that means
login, logout, username, password, etc..
Big problem for the difference in digital culture
their own peers. Even

conclude her studies. In the careers of teachers Computing
not use the Internet.
If teachers do not have skills to use the Internet
not motivate students to take Internet and unconsciously repress
use.

Often when we think of cities in the future we envision increasingly superhabitadas mega cities where human beings use technology and science to increasingly build up (mega skyscrapers, runways ..). This is partly true because of the large population increase, we have been growing exponentially and can not think of a better solution in the future to control birth rates, but there's something we think, that the planet earth but 90% of the territory is uninhabited and oceans unless we have most of the land is uninhabited, this is due in large part to the industrial revolution was moving en masse rural people where they were dispersed to the city where they are piled up (to put it in some way), but today is seen as technological advances are driving this trend may be reversing, the science of telecommunications is a example, but think that in future many of the customs of the industrial age will be replaced by other rules of a society, a technology and a new science. People need not be all piled up to interact, work and communicate. The advances come in the architecture and science in the coming decades will allow the use of materials and construction techniques that allow more sophisticated live in places difficult to inhabit today.

Stiff Aching Thighs And Legs

future cities of the past in the future

is known that the teleportation is likely to be a reality at some future time, and in 2010 experiments, scientists have teleported particles and light. It would be unrealistic to think if in the future to manufacture super cameras compared to today (think the cameras have evolved over the last hundred years and think what could evolve in 100 or 200 years) that can shoot orbiting space at a distance of 1000 light years from earth (located there by the teleportation) and a super zoom shooting directly into the soil and everything that happens in it with good sharpness (is that still we can not imagine something teleportation as possible, but science shows it is very likely true), so the camera filmed what happened a thousand years on earth and through the teleport and the image we would soon could see the past, yes! .., means that in the future maybe we can actually see the dinosaurs but we can not interact ( fortunately) and perhaps to know Christ and see the face of Cleopatra. Of course it is impossible to ensure that this will predict the future by reason is something almost superhuman almost doomed to failure, although sometimes the error is that we fall short and our imagination is clearly overwhelmed by the reality and the future.

Connectivism in practice. Making Education

In college a student attends classes five different subjects simultaneously. To create a network of connections for each subject is complex, complicated and difficult. If you create a single environment for all subjects is equally complicated. Each semester, new subjects and received there for four or five years.
The student always has the feeling of wasting time by creating connections, which is a slow and difficult process. Understand that using the Internet can access a variety of sources of knowledge is something that baffles. The student is used to study a book text and some supplementary texts to pass each subject. Create a network seems pointless and time consuming.
The courses have a time limit to assimilate each topic. Assessments are scheduled on fixed dates, midterm and final. Do you assess learning? No. It assesses compliance with the goals proposed in each subject. A quantitative assessment of something that is qualitative learning. Does
then meaningless to talk about connectivism and connectivist education without breaking the existing educational structures? Are we talking about the emptiness of something that seems impractical or very very far away?
